Shower with confidence

The Blue Shoe Guys PICC Line Shower Cover keeps IV lines, PICC lines, casts, dressings and wounds on the upper arm dry in the shower or bath. A snug, watertight seal at each end keeps water out, so you can keep your daily routine while you heal.

Choose your size

Measure around the widest part of your upper arm (bicep) and around your forearm, then pick the size that covers both.

Size Sleeve length Bicep circumference Forearm circumference
S/M 14.5" 8.5" – 12" 6.5" – 10"
L/XL 14.5" 11.5" – 16" 10" – 15"
XXL 17.5" 16" – 21.5" 10.5" – 19"

Between sizes? Your bicep measurement matters most, since that's where the top seal sits. Still unsure? Send us your measurements and we'll help you pick.

How to put it on

  1. Make sure your dressing is in place and your arm is dry.
  2. Gently stretch the top opening and slide the sleeve over your hand and up your arm until the dressing is fully covered.
  3. Check that both seals sit flat against your skin, then shower. Afterward, roll it off, rinse it, and let it air-dry.

Comfortable and gentle

High-stretch, self-sealing openings go on and come off easily and are designed not to leave pressure marks, even on sensitive or healing skin. Made from latex-free, odorless TPU with a neoprene seal ring.

Questions

Which size do I need?

Measure around your bicep and forearm and use the size chart above: S/M fits biceps 8.5"–12", L/XL fits 11.5"–16", and XXL fits 16"–21.5" (XXL is also longer, 17.5" vs 14.5"). If you're unsure, contact us with your measurements.

Can I use it over an IV site, a PICC line or a cast?

It is designed to protect IV lines, PICC lines, casts, dressings and surgical wounds on the arm from water. Ask your care team before showering with a line or device in place.

Is it reusable, and how do I clean it?

Yes. After each use, rinse it with mild soap and water and let it air-dry. Many customers keep two so one is always dry and ready.

Can I swim or soak in the bath with it?

It is made for showers and baths. Avoid fully submerging your arm for long periods, and ask your care team whether swimming or soaking is OK with your line or dressing.

Does it replace my dressing?

No. The sleeve goes over your dressing to keep water out. It does not replace it.

Can I use it over a wearable sensor on my arm?

Many sensors are made for the shower, so you may not need a cover. Check the device's instructions and ask your care team first, since a tight sleeve could press on the device.
